Conversion Tracking with RedTrack

RedTrack is AI-powered affiliate marketing campaign management & analytics platform, helping affiliates and media buying teams around the world get higher ROI.

Let’s have a look at how to pass conversions to Go2mobi from RedTrack for easier optimization. Please keep in mind that you need to have active accounts in both systems.

Important! Before proceeding, we advise you to configure your offer postback from Affiliate Network / Advertiser to RedTrack.

Step 1. Find your Postback API key in Go2mobi

The first step is to obtain the api_key from Go2mobi in order to further modify the postback URL. In order to do that, open the Account tab and scroll the page down until you see the blue Conversion Tracking button. You will see your postback URL. Basically, you only need to copy the api_key inside the link.

Important! Please note that the Postback API key found in the Conversion Tracking section is not the same as your Go2mobi API key found on the Account tab.

Step 2.  Set Up Go2mobi as a Traffic Source in

The next step is to add Go2mobi as a Traffic Source in RedTrack. Go to the Sources Tab of your RedTrack account and click New. Since Go2mobi is already included in the RedTrack Sources database, just choose it from the suggested Presets. The data will be filled in automatically. In the postback URL, replace the api_key value “REPLACE” with the API key obtained during the previous step.

Step 3. Set Up Campaign in

Now you are ready to launch a Campaign. As soon as you set up Campaign’s details, copy the Campaign’s URL from the corresponding field:

Step 4. Set Up RedTrack to postback conversion to Go2mobi

Finally, to register a conversion on the Go2mobi platform, you need to set up Postback within RedTrack. Navigate to the Postback settings tab in the Campaign settings. The Postback URL will already be populated with the necessary data. You can also manually add your postback URL.

Important! Make sure the postback has the correct API key and you have added the RedTrack {ref_id} macro.

Step 5. Modify tracking URL with appropriate macros

To properly track conversions in RedTrack, add {ref_id} to the URL, e.g.{clickid}. Upon an advertisement click, a unique value is created, so the {clickid} macro is replaced with this value.

To pass additional values from Go2mobi into RedTrack, there are a number of macros that can be added to the RedTrack tracking link on the Go2mobi platform. These macros may be found here.

Important! Make sure to use ref_id={clickid} macro if you want to track unique Go2mobi clicks and send postbacks.
